I am very drawn to these miniature cabinets. They evoke secrets, things closeted away to be discovered by the curious explorer. An inexpensive piece of whimsy to have or to give.
Here we have a winged vintage beauty peering out. Is she gazing at the hand with the pink pearl? Or the tiny heart?
The second shelf holds vintage portraits in their bottle cap frames. The cabinet is completed with a lucky red dice, the world at your feet and a porcelain hand. The wooden miniature cabinet is painted in artist acrylics and is 4" wide 5 1/2" high and 2" deep.
This miniature cabinet is a mixed-media assemblage sculpture and all details are permanently attached and cannot be removed. The art is for indoor display only and should not be displayed in a room with high moisture, like a bathroom.
