I am very drawn to these miniature cabinets. They evoke secrets, things closeted away to be discovered by the curious explorer. An inexpensive piece of whimsy to have or to give.
A bit of ancient map on the back wall, a golden globe and standing hands. Maps, tiny porcelain tea cup with a red rose and reaching hand. Another reaching hand holds a golden globe. A yellow paper flower adorns the door.
The wooden miniature cabinet is painted in artist acrylics and accented with decoupage. It is 4" wide, 5 1/2" high and 2" deep.
This miniature cabinet is a mixed-media assemblage sculpture and all details are permanently attached and cannot be removed. The art is for indoor display only and should not be displayed in a room with high moisture, like a bathroom.
